About Jordan

Hi! After teaching for 10 years in New Orleans, I relocated to Chattanooga in June of 2024 to teach at the Center for Creative Arts. I began my teaching career in a Kindergarten classroom but currently teach 9th-12th grade Algebra II, Geometry, Statistics, and English as a special education inclusion teacher. Prior to this role, I spent 5 years at a therapeutic day treatment program for students with significant emotional and behavioral needs, where I developed my patience, active listening skills, and ability to support students through stressful moments big and small. Academically, math is my preference, but I have also taught ELA, Science, and Social Studies - primarily to 4th-8th grade students. I look forward to learning more about your student and their needs!
