NOTE: I prefer one-on-one Zoom sessions at $35/hour. On-site sessions near Westminster are $45/hour. I provide materals at no cost. I am semi-retired, with overlapping careers in IT, Education, and Writing. I write extensively for adults [fiction, satire], and children [fables, California childhood] as well as "occasion" sonnets. I am also an amateur linguist, studying 6 languages as electives in 3 colleges, and 6 more on international consulting and teaching assignments. I have developed my own [free] ESL. GUIDE and supporting materials, e. g., Humor, Tongue-twisters. Reading aloud helps me correct your pronunciation and helps you acquire grammar as habits rather than memorized - often conflicting - rules. It also helps you figure out the meanings of unfamiliar words. We adapt the materials and the sessions to help achieve them.
