My career of working with children began back in Lithuania where I taught Russian language and literature to students. I taught for six years. Once I moved to the US, I began teaching Lithuanian preschool children part -time. At the same time I started my career as a nanny. I have been working 17 years in this field and had the opportunity to work with children of different ages from babies to preteens. This work gives me great satisfaction because I get to see how children grow and develop. I enjoy helping children with their homework, doing arts and crafts with them, playing outdoors, and doing other fun activities.
