Hi I'm John. My first experience with caring for seniors began with my grandparents. As a young man I lived above them in a two flat in North Illinois. I would help with errands and try to spend visiting time with them . We enjoyed long conversations as they shared their history. Then as an older adult my wife and I were live in caregivers for an elderly couple in the Chicago suburbs . We relocated to California where I cared for a veteran for a year until the last eight weeks of his life.. Both of my paid positions come with very good family references. I am a California registered home health care aide . I am certified in BLS CPR, first aid , MAB, BBP. I have a CA food handlers permit and I am a licensed California security guard. I have years of experience in home cleaning and maintenance. My hobbies and interests include all sports. Indoors I love playing cards, chess, piano, learning and reading .
