I'd describe my personality as happy, caring and loyal. I like caring for seniors because it makes me happy to be able to help others. I'm looking for a job that will be long term. I started caring for seniors in 2001 when my dad had cancer and passed away in 6 months. Four months later in 2001, when my mom was diagnosed with cancer and she passed away in 2006. During their treatments, I helped others by provinding care for my parents as well as others in the treatment rooms. Some were all alone, their family had to work and dropped them off for treatments. I knew then it was a calling and I left my 9-5 job to care for Seniors. In my spare time, I like to read, kayak and enjoy time with my grand children. One thing you should know about me is I truly love caring for others. It is a blessing to meet so many people and to be able to care for them with kindness and compassion. My skills include light housekeeping, laundry and preparing meals.

Johnna helped care for my husband over several years. He was quadriplegic due to a neurological disease and required full personal care and feedings. She was compassionate, patient, and resourceful. I will always be grateful for her kindness and professionalism to both of us.
