Relaxed, bright, enjoying life. I like working with kids because they offer refreshing ways of looking at the world, plus I love to be in a role that's so much to do with being present and creating a sense of safety and fun. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, helping out local families with their younger children in the summers. I have spent one year teaching outdoor education, including facilitating high ropes courses and living in-cabin with the kids for a week at a time. And I have spent much time caring for and enjoying being other and learning with my nieces and nephews over the last 12 years. In my spare time, I like to write! Doodle, make music, listen to music, be with friends, be outside, be quiet, be loud, just generally hang out. I'm understanding, contemplative, and playful and silly.
