I'd describe my personality as creative, caring and empathetic I like caring for seniors because it is a very rewarding feeling to help someone be able to stay comfortably in their home. I'm looking for a job that my talents and abilities can serve someone who has needs they can no longer fulfill. I started caring for seniors when my father fell ill in 2006 In my spare time, I like to sing and do interior design. One thing you should know about me is I was the primary care giver for my mother who suffered from dementia and was moved to a nursing home. So I am very aware of how active loved ones need to be when dealing with nursing homes and hospitals. My skills include prompting self-administered medication, help with transferring up and down, bathing, exercise, doing errands, transporting client, shopping, being a good listener, engaging in conversation and providing a safe environment.
