As a kid I grew up with many pets and I have been caring for other peoples' pets for over 10 years in the Ithaca area. I'm available on a regular basis, if you only need someone infrequently, or even one-time. I also can provide Pet Transportation and accompanying your pet to the vet. Or even take your dog to the dog park! I love caring for pets, and look forward to helping your family!

John is a wonderful caretaker for my difficult dog. He comes twice week to play with my dog for more than a year and my dog loves him. He even sets up playdates and walks with a neighbor's dog. John is extremely reliable, a great communicator and very flexible and easygoing. I can tell he genuinely loves dogs. I highly recommend him for dog walking and pet care!

John has been fantastic. Flexible, detail oriented, dependable, follows instructions accurately, and even handles extra requests like last minute changes on my part, bringing in the mail, and even cleaning up when the cat makes a mess.  Highly recommend!

John has walked my dog since I got her as a puppy in February 2023. He is exceptionally reliable and flexible when my schedule changes. I use him three days a week to exercise my year-old, high-energy, 60-pound Labrador mix. I have no reservations about recommending John's services. It has been a pleasure working with him.

John is an amazingly caring and thorough cat sitter for our two young cats. They loved him. We were happy to have benefited from his services over the last couple years we were in Ithaca (we've since moved). We really felt assured leaving the care of our two cats to him when we were traveling a lot post-pandemic, especially since he gave us great visit updates, as requested. We highly recommend John!

John was prompt, very clear with his communication, and most importantly my dog loved going to the dog park with him. My only comment is it would have been nice to have some pictures of my dog while she was out with him, but that's just a nice bonus since I can't be at the dog park with her myself. 

John is a diligent, thoughtful, and extremely responsible person, and this clearly shows in his pet sitting business. Whether we are away for an extended time or long weekend, he makes it easy to stay in touch with him. He made sure the house was cool enough yet secure for our cats during a hot summer with no air conditioning, and he generally kept an eye out for our plants and mail. He is a true professional, and best of all, he's very kind, and my kitties like him. We highly recommend him!

John is an awesome pet sitter! He has taken care of our dog, cats and gerbil several times. He is great about sending us updates and photos so we know how they are doing. Best of all, he really plays with the dog! The animals always seem so happy and well-cared for when we get home. We couldn't ask for a better pet sitter!

John is my neighbor, and I've hired him to pet-sit and walk my dogs. He is very reliable, good with pets, and checks back in to let me know how things went. I recommend him as a pet-sitter and dog walker!

John is amazing with our dog, Acorn. He plays with her in addition to the nice long walk he takes her on. She absolutely loves him!! He is always flexible when I need to change walk dates or times as well.

John A. cared for our aged cat many times over the past few years and we were always very pleased and impressed by his care for him. Aside from taking care of his food, water, and litter box, John also administered our cat's twice daily medication and took the time to hang out with him for a while each day. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

John comes to our house to walk and play with our 17 month old, very lively, chocolate lab. He has been doing this since our dog, Suki,  was a puppy.  John seems to have  a natural understanding of animals and  their needs.   Also, John is a good communicator, which is a great bonus. I would highly recommend John. John walks my dog faithfully twice per week. He is extremely friendly, reliable, an excellent communicator and also flexible when I need to change my schedule from time to time. He's also great with Badger (that's my dog) who now looks forward to his every visit :) I'd highly recommend John for any dog walking or sitting needs.
