Over a decade of professional experience! My life in childcare began at the home daycare run by my mother; I've been taking care of children since I was old enough to do so. I was the nanny for a few of my professors' children in college, & decided to just carry on the family business after that! Besides supporting multiple families through their children's developmental milestones, I studied them & how they effect learning & creativity when recieving my bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children. This also has made me an expert in all things arts & crafts! I make it a point to spend as much time outside as our fickle weather allows, so no couch potatoes on my watch. I'm CPR/first aid certified, I have a clean driving record, & I don't smoke. I know enough ASL to help infants communicate and teach basic conversation/vocabulary to older children, and I've had great success with both! Museums, day trips to the beach, hiking, library visits, I'm ready to do them all! Thank you!

Johanna was our nanny for two years taking care of our 4 and 2 year old. She was wonderful from day one. She cares deeply for our kids and they absolutely love her. She has an incredible gift with children—patient, attentive, and endlessly engaging. Whether it was reading stories, creating imaginative play setups, doing arts and crafts, or exploring the outdoors, Johanna was always fully present and focused on nurturing our kids’ curiosity and development. She is easy to communicate with and has been flexible for us when we've needed her to be. All around amazing and any family would be lucky to have her.
