About Johanna

I'm Jo (Johanna) a 42/f, mother of 3 beautiful children, wife to my amazing husband of 19 years. I'm the oldest of 5, and helping with my younger siblings is what started my love of being in a caregiving role. Since becoming a mom at 19, and have always been able to stay home to care for our kids. Over the years I have also been a full time, around the clock caregiver and companion to each of my 4 grandparents. My paternal grandparents lived with us for 8 years and I provided all of their personal and medical care, even acting as the primary support during palliative care/hospice which took place in our home. I was responsible for their appointments, administering meds, social appointments, shopping, and general care. I have worked part time here and there and volunteered in companionship roles for elderly in my community as well. Please contact me if you feel like I could be a good fit for your needs.
