About Johanna

Hello! I am a former teacher (M. Ed.) with 25 years experience in caregiving and special education. I am relocating to the Kissimmee area in June and am beginning my search for long term roles. I have experience with children (newborn to teen) of all abilities, from typically developing to significant impairments that require specialized care (transfers, g-tubes, incontinence, vision loss, seizures, etc.). I am organized, nurturing, patient, creative, reliable, CPR/First Aid certified, have a perfect driving record, and can provide exceptional references. I enjoy puzzles, gluten free baking, music, meditation, and all things Disney! I believe in the power of play as well as the importance of emotional intelligence. I am open to p/t or f/t child care, respite care, or private education. I have lots of experience and skills, but the fit and chemistry between us is my priority; I believe that makes for the most successful caregiving relationships! I look forward to connecting!
