About Johaira

Empowering students to reach their full potential is my passion. With a college degree and two years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I actively listen to understand each student's unique learning style, adapting my methods through open communication and regular feedback. I keep students motivated by celebrating successes and breaking down challenges into manageable steps. Communication is key; I believe in building trust and collaboration with both students and parents through regular updates. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid trained, comfortable with pets, and fluent in both English and Spanish. I would love to help your student succeed!
