About Joey

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, and creative. I like working with kids because they have such unique, beautiful perspectives on the world. As much as I love to help them learn and grow, they teach me so much on their end without even realizing it! I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I babysat for neighbors, and within a year of doing so, I decided to enroll in a babysitting certification class at Kennedy Hospital. From then on I became certified in CPR, first aid, and took two years of child development courses, in addition to working at a daycare in high school. In my spare time, I like to write, read, listen to music, take long walks with my dogs, and cook!
