My name is Joelle and I am graduating from Mizzou with a Human Development and Family Sciences degree. I will be moving home to Lee's Summit in July and will be looking for a nanny position for the year. I have 5+ years of experience working with children in a wide variety of settings. I started babysitting at a young age and since then have worked several jobs with kids. I tutored for Jumpstart for 1 year, where I worked with preschool children in the Headstart program. This taught me all about child development, including how to promote social, emotional, and academic development. I have 2 years of experience working with Youth Volunteer Corps, where I led youth ages 12-18 on service projects. Finally, I have 1 year of experience working at the Juvenile Justice Center in Columbia. I mentor and simply hang out with kids ages 12-16 who are currently detained.
