About Jody

I have helped in a learning environment children with improving their reading skills and concepts of basic math. I enjoy seeing their confidence when they master the skill and can move past it . I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic and resourceful in finding a method that works to unlock learning . I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students reach their capacity to learn so they feel confident and hungry. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with an age group that is hungry to learn. I started tutoring with a child who could speak English but couldn't read it. In my spare time, I like to cook, read and decorate. One thing you should know about me is I am passionate about helping children to become ready for school success. My skills include cooking, decorating and reading.
