About Jodie

Hello, Friends! My name is Jo and I'd love to be a helping hand! I have been a care taker, live-in nanny, para educator and have been around children my entire life. I'm a lover of the arts and have a free spirit, but believe in shaping and molding children's behaviors to grow up to be kind and functional adults. Empathy, compassion, and curiosity is what I strive to provide in terms of child care. I tend to take an education forward approach to my interactions with children. I believe that giving them the tools needed to understand the world around them is giving them an advantage in knowing how to exist in the modern world. Plus; I truly enjoy answering all those "Why?" questions. I am looking for a kind and respectful family, like minded people who want the best for their children, and people who communicate directly about their needs. I have experience with all ages, but especially love caring for babies & younger children. Please let me know if you think we'd be a good fit!
