About Kamiah

I am 26 years old, with well over 10 years childcare experience. I have worked in all environments, including a daycare center for almost 3 years, in home care for 2 years, and as a nanny for 6 years. While I am comfortable and have experience with all ages, my preferred group with the most experience is newborn through age 3. I have taken care of up to five kids at a time. I have had my driving license for over 10 years with a clean record. As a childcare provider, I absolutely love watching children experience simple things for the first time, learning new tasks, achieving milestones, and most importantly having fun and enjoying being a kid. I believe that emotional regulation is extremely important and always strive to validate the feelings of each child, while working through the hard moments. I love being outdoors, coming up with fun, educational and stimulating activities, having dance parties, laughing, and teaching about daily life and tasks!
