About Jocelyn

I learned about Care. com recently and thought this would be a valuable way to advertise my cooking services. As a VT licensed home based food caterer and currently a chef at a private school I am looking to widen my love for cooking and supporting those who cannot cook for themselves. I am developing a unique service for seniors and or/ families who need in home food preparation and cooking. Services will be tailored for individuals such as grocery shopping. I have over 20 years serving children and disabled individuals. My husband and I became guardians of his parents after they couldn't live on their own so I understand the stressors of caretaking and the worries of aging for those who don't know who can help. I'm looking to create a food service that helps loved ones remain in their homes as long as possible. Cooking nutritionally yummy meals can be something I can contribute in hopes of reducing some daily tasks.
