About Jocelyn

Hi! I'm Jocelyn, a nursing student with over 5 years of childcare experience caring for children from newborns through school age. My goal is to become a pediatric nurse, and I bring the same level of patience, attentiveness, and compassion to childcare that I do to my nursing education. I believe children thrive with a balance of structure, fun, and kindness. I love creating engaging days through outdoor play, crafts, reading, and imaginative activities while maintaining routines that help children feel safe and secure. My approach to discipline focuses on positive reinforcement, redirection, clear expectations, and age-appropriate consequences that align with each family's parenting style. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have completed Safe Sleep, Water Safety, Transportation Safety, Mandated Reporter, and Concussion Protocol training. My top priority is always providing a safe, nurturing, and dependable environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun.
