I have a big love for animals! I live in Guyton with my husband & two rescue boxers, ages 6 & 4. Sadly, we recently said good bye to our 12. 5 yr old rescued mastiff. Our dogs are our children and our lives revolve around them! I am an active volunteer and foster for the local boxer rescue. As a child, I grew up with cats, dogs and a ferret. Animals are a must! I have been petsitting for over 25 years, mainly dogs/cats but I have cared for birds, chickens and tortoises, too! Currently, I work part time & pet sit for numerous families in the area. I would be glad to share references. On the rare occasion my husband and I go away without the dogs, my biggest concerns are: Are the dogs ok? Are they happy? Are they having fun? As a petsitter, these are the same things I focus on when caring for your animals. Sticking to routines & allowing pets to stay in their home environment is the key to minimizing their stress while you are away. I treat your babies as I would want my babies treated.
