I value tutoring because not every kid gets the same starting point. I'd like to change that. I started tutoring back in High School, when I realized ESOL students were thrown in classes only taught in English. I dedicated my lunches to tutoring Spanish-speaking students. I believe there are no bad students. There are only unfortunate circumstances that kept them from learning properly. I also have younger siblings I grew up helping with homework. During the Covid lockdown, I tutored a niece and nephew (under 8 yrs old). In my spare time, I volunteer as a Sunday school teacher. I am accustomed to being around rowdy middle and high school students. I am a college gradute currently working on a few certifications. I am looking for flexible jobs in between.
