I've always had a passion for caring for children. I've been babysitting since I was a teenager and have loved every minute of it. I decided to pursue a career in childcare because I want to make a positive impact on the lives of children and support families in need of reliable care. I'm a patient, calm, creative, imaginative, and friendly person. I believe that communication is key in any relationship, especially when caring for children. I keep parents updated on their child's day through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup, and I always follow their preferred communication method. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules as long as they are communicated to me clearly. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, educational games that promote learning, and technology-based games and apps with children. I have one year of childcare experience and am comfortable caring for one child at a time. I'm also fluent in English and Spanish.
