About Joann

I am a mother of one and grandmother of two. I have worked as a professional nanny for many years after working as a legal assistant. I have had many long-term positions - newborns, twin infants, toddler/preschool, school-age and special needs; I am blessed to still see the former families. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified (a given,) have a squeaky-clean DMV/BCI check; I am fully vaccinated. I have a passion for the arts; I am well-versed in children's literature; I love being outside in all four seasons, have reliable transportation and enjoy taking children on outings at the parent's discretion. (Although I am "seasoned" in age, I encourage prospective families to view me as bringing a grandmotherly-presence to children - still able-bodied, mature and nurturing, with no personal commitments to conflict with a family's needs.)
