Hello! My name is Joann and I am a proud mom to our 18-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. I am a former social worker for home-bound seniors, disabled adults and foster children ranging in ages from newborn through 18. During the pandemic, I became a CNA at Camilla Hall Nursing in Malvern, serving IHM Sisters, and I enjoyed it very much. It is so rewarding to give back and I am now looking into pursuing a degree in Nursing. After losing my mother merely five months after being diagnosed unexpectedly with Stage IV Lung Cancer, I became a hospice volunteer with Penn Medicine of Chester County Hospital. I am a former soccer, basketball and softball coach with our parish, St. Joseph in Downingtown and so I have updated child abuse and criminal background clearances. I am also fully-vaccinated for COVID. I love children and seniors (and fur-babies aka pets) too! I work full-time and am looking for part-time weekend work. Thank you, Joann :)

This was my first time using a sitter who also happened to be a mother herself.... and wow what a difference! Joann is so loving with my kids, in a way that only someone who has "been through it" could be. Hard to describe, there's just a mothering quality about her that is exactly what I've always wanted in a sitter who will be spending significant time with my kids. Joann is not only loving and caring towards my kids, but she also is a genuinely kindhearted person who cares about me and my family. I can't say enough good things!
