About Joann

Hi! I'm a positive, patient, and reliable person with about 10 years experience working with kids. Most years it was a combination of tutoring and babysitting. For the 2019 to 2020 school year I lived in Spain teaching English as a second language to elementary school children at a public school and multiple academies. I have a full time job through May but am looking for part time or full time tutoring or babysitting positions this summer! I can tutor any subject for elementary and middle school, most for high school, and especially Spanish for any age! I'm very comfortable and confident working with kids whether it's doing fun and safe activities together, helping academically and finding creative ways to make school work engaging, or just offering support and encouragement while they play or do homework. After a break with quarantine I can't wait to spend time with some little humans again :)
