About Joannie

Hi, I'm Joannie! I'm an experienced childcare professional with an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and many years of hands-on experience caring for children. I have worked in home childcare settings with infants through age 5, as well as with school-age children. I'm CPR/First Aid trained, dependable, patient, and nurturing. I enjoy getting down on a child's level and keeping children engaged through crafts, reading, music, games, outdoor play, and other age-appropriate activities. Creating a safe and caring environment is very important to me. I also believe in helping children learn problem-solving skills, kindness, and independence while making sure they feel heard and supported. I'm a non-smoker, have reliable transportation, and am comfortable helping with children's meals and light housekeeping. I would love to connect with a family looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy spending time with and caring for their children.
