About Joanne

Bringing comfort and support to others is my passion. As a former Certified Nursing Assistant with one and a half years of experience, I find immense satisfaction in making a positive impact on the lives of adults and seniors, and supporting their families. My graduate degree in counseling has given me a solid foundation to build upon. I currently work full-time as a case manager in disability services. My experience includes dementia care, mental health, and substance abuse. I can provide transportation, run errands, shop, prepare meals, and do light housekeeping. I'm patient, compassionate, and friendly. Earning your trust is important to me. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with care. I keep families informed with verbal updates, always following their preferred communication methods. Knowing I can provide peace of mind to a family while enriching someone's life is why I love what I do.
