Hi there! For most of my life, I have been surrounded with children: my 4 daughters, my grandchildren, and my students. I love the energy, curiosity, and fun that we share. Whether reading a quiet book, exploring math or philosophy, going to the park, or having a dance party, I enjoy spending my time with children. I stopped classroom teaching during the pandemic and have been a private tutor for a homeschooling family of 6, teaching kindergarten through 9th grade. Joanne has been babysitting my children since they were infants, and they are now 5 and 8. She’s super energetic and spends as much time as possible playing and learning with them outside. She always feeds them nutritious meals, reinforces positive behavior, and helps them get along when they argue. She has taught them so much by reading with them, talking about math and science in everyday life, and taking them on little adventures. My kids love her!
