About Joanna

Hi! First, I cannot imagine needing to trust someone with caring for your child (I have a hard enough time doing that with my Bulldog!) I currently live in Mount Pleasant. Prior to that, I worked as an RN in Savannah on a Neuro/Trauma ICU. I have experience with all ages (from newborns to geriatrics). My 1st degree as a recreational therapist allowed me to plan and facilitate events working with children with multiple day to day challenges (CP, ADD, Asperger's, Autism, Down Syndrome, etc.). I have planned and implemented at after school programs, nursing homes, the VA, and more! I am BLS, ACLS, & NHSS certified. This past year, I had to focus on my own health as I explored ways to recover from an autoimmune disease flare. As I improve and explore my next career move, I would love to help any interested parents while I take a break as an RN and explore new opportunities. I love sports, fitness, board games, crafts, and the beach!
