About Joanna Marie

I have over 20 years of experience nurturing children while teaching and later as a parent to my three children, now teenagers. My background includes a college degree, coursework in Early Child Development, and certification as a teacher. I am also certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I currently work mornings at a local preschool. Since my children are in high school and in sports after school, I have afternoon availability and am excited to take on a new adventure in hoping to support another family with my free time. I'm patient, friendly, and love engaging children with games, puzzles, outdoor play and educational activities. I'm very comfortable upholding your household rules and value an open communication. I'm happy to help with cooking prep, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I'm a caregiver by nature, and I'm excited to learn how I can support your family.
