I'd describe my personality as empathetic, conscientious and engaging I like caring for seniors because it's a precious time of life when many people feel lonely and isolated. Not everyone has family that can spend a lot of time with senior family members. I can be someone who offers an older person both companionship, autonomy and a sense of security. I started caring for seniors about five years ago when my aunt was diagnosed with cancer and asked me to move in with her to keep her company. She ultimately had a day nurse and then hospice care but for the time she was feeling well we did many fun things together that allowed her to be more than just her illness and still get out in the world whether it be a trip to the nail or hair salon or to visit a friend or to go out to lunch. One thing you should know about me is I like to make people smile. I am genuine, considerate and respectful. My personality is not over the top and I can modulate to pretty much any personality type.
