About Joanna

Hi! I'm Joanna! I'm a certified teacher with over 17 years of experience in education-but more importantly, I genuinely love working with kids, animals, and families! I'm comfortable with children of all ages and love actually interacting with them-playing, establishing routines, talking, getting outside, helping with homework, being creative, and finding ways to make our time together fun. My teaching background also means I'm experienced with different personalities, learning styles, and needs (and I'm pretty hard to rattle!). I'm happy to help with homework, meals, transportation, organization, and light household tasks, too. Pets are family as well! I have two cats and years of experience with dogs, including large, energetic breeds and pets needing extra care. I'm warm, dependable, organized, flexible, and a big believer in communication.
