Hi, my name is Joan and I'm a 57-year-old mother of two (25 and 24). I moved to Huntington a little under a year ago from Merrick, and have 20 years of childcare experience. I'm kind, creative, warm, patient, and I really love working with children. I worked in an elementary school in N. Bellmore as a teachers aide for 11 years, and absolutely loved it. I worked with children 1:1, with disabilities, and with behavioral issues. I've also babysat neighborhood children for years, and volunteered at Last Hope animal shelter in Wantagh. I love animals too, so if you have any pets I can help out as well! I can help with housework, homework, pet care, etc., and I do not smoke and have a clean driving record.
