About Joan

I have over 20 years of experience, I did worked for Albany Medical Center and Little Sisters of the poor as a nursing assistance. I am trained in CPR and other life saving skills. have had the opportunity to worked with many wonderful families. With each one a unique experience. Nevertheless, I have learned a lot. I have given and assist with personal care, I have also prepared meals, turned clients who are confined to bed I have done hoyer lifting, taken vital signs, peri-care, assist client with meds, oxygen also when at end of life. I have done some errands such as grocery shopping and banking and dr's appt. most of all, just been there for the clients to have healthy conversations listen to their stories and have good laughs. I am from Jamaica. However an American Citizen I am a very hard working person with several aspirations. Including a Red Cross Volunteer. I am a very kind and loving person I have raised 5 successful children who are now grown and on their own.
