About Joan

I began my career as a hands on nursing assistant working with the elderly in a long term care facility. I provided care such as bathing, dressing, feeding and companion care. I knew then that my passion was working with the elderly. After 35 years in the health care field I retired and began taking care of my mother until she passed away last December at the age of 95. I also took care of a 90-year-old woman until she passed away. Currently, I am assisting two elderly gentleman with grocery shopping and being a companion to them on a very part-time basis. I feel I am a kind, caring and compassionate person. Thank you in advance of your consideration.
