Joan helped care for my step-father at the end of his life and she was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we hired her, she was willing to go above and beyond to care for him. As he rapidly declined shortly after she started, she quickly modified her schedule and stepped in to care for him almost 24/7. Given I was out of state, good communication was critical. Joan provided detailed and professional notes of his care and checked in daily. She was quick to call if his condition changed or she was concerned. I fully trusted her. Most importantly, Joan was my step father’s favorite care giver. He felt cared for and respected by her, and this was true until the very end. She even got him to try new vegetables! I can’t recommend her enough.
