About Joan

I'd describe my personality as kind, good sense of humor, detailed. I like caring for homes because I know I enjoy a well-maintained home myself. I started housekeeping when my neighbor that owns a rental cottage next door needed me when her regular housekeeper was sick or on vacation. In my spare time, I like to go on nature walks with my two standard poodles, reading, spending time catching up with friends. Some things you should know about me is I'm a retired dental hygienist! I am also very fond of seniors; I enjoy their life stories. I cared for my parents before they both passed on, and it was a difficult yet incredibly rewarding experience. I also love both dogs and cats. My skills include thorough cleaning, detailed work, and making sure I use cleaning supplies the owner would prefer.
