About Joan

My journey into childcare began with joyful experiences caring for my nieces and nephews, and continued with previous babysitting roles. I have one year of experience caring for children and I am comfortable watching up to two children. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in advertising at UIUC and I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I always communicate with parents using their preferred method, including verbal updates at pickup and regular texts or calls. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. Knowing I can positively impact a child's life brings me immense satisfaction, and I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm to your family.
