About Joan

Bringing joy and comfort to seniors is my calling. For the last 10 years, I've been privileged to support adults and seniors, helping them maintain their independence and well-being. My background includes some college, and I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aid. I'm also trained in CPR. As a caregiver, I provide respite care, transportation, run errands, assist with personal care and light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I strive to understand each person's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I am patient, compassionate, and friendly, and I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities when needed. I communicate with families through written reports, verbal updates, and regular text or phone calls. I have a car and I'm comfortable with pets.
