About Joachim

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. For the past three years, I've had the pleasure of caring for children as a summer camp counselor at the Burlington Parks and Recreation. I mainly worked with Preschool and elementary school kids, and I find it incredibly rewarding. I worked as an inclusion staff the past two summers, meaning I assisted children who need some extra support at Summer camp. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy engaging children with board games, puzzles, and educational activities that make learning fun. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I am happy to provide verbal updates at pickup. I am also willing to assist with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am comfortable caring for one to two children at a time. I look forward to bringing my passion for childcare to your family.
