I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with five dogs, and now I have two sweet Maltese, ages 10 and 15. I enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and spending time with them like a friend. I never force dogs to do anything they're uncomfortable with. Instead, I give them time to relax and settle in at their own pace. I think that's why dogs usually feel comfortable with me. Seeing dogs happy makes me happy too. My home has a fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play. We go outside 3-5 times a day and enjoy at least one long walk every day.
