About Jimmie

Hi! I'm a caring, dependable, and patient caregiver with a background in psychology, youth support, behavioral intervention, case management, and currently work at a preschool. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families in supportive and structured settings, and I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My experience has taught me the importance of meeting each child where they are, building trusting relationships, and creating a safe, calm, and engaging environment. I enjoy getting to know each child's unique personality and interests while supporting their emotional and developmental needs. I like working with kids because I enjoy being a safe, supportive presence in their lives and helping them build confidence and healthy ways of coping with challenges. I believe the care and relationships children experience early in life can have a lasting impact on their well-being.
