About Jillian

I'm an actively licensed registered nurse, current SAHM, and former nanny. I'm interested in offering part-time childcare on a temporary basis, now through July. My son is 3 years old and will join me when I work, so we'll be a good match if you think an extra playmate would be beneficial for your child. He is a chatty toddler who is kind to others and doesn't use screens. My goal with him is always to facilitate a balanced day that builds his confidence, security, and autonomy. This means we read together, he voluntarily joins me in household tasks, he plays independently, and he plays with other children in our community (with safety monitoring, but without micromanagment). Being outdoors every day is important to us. We are mostly available in the afternoons until the end of the school year, at which point we'll be more flexible. I am expecting a second baby in August, so will not be at peak mobility! We'll best meet goals for spending time outdoors if you have a yard.
