About Jillian

Hi! My name is Jillian , and I have several years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages and abilities. This past year I worked as an after-school counselor and teacher's assistant at an all-inclusive special needs academy, where I led my own after-school classroom. I'm skilled at identifying emotional triggers, calming children in distress, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. This past fall, I graduated from FSU with a degree in psychology and minor in child development. I'll be starting graduate school at FSU in August to earn my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with the goal of eventually working with children and families as a therapist. I'm deeply committed to helping children thrive; whether it's assisting with homework, helping around the house, or planning engaging activities, I'm here to help!
