About Jill
An Abingdon, Maryland resident. I'm mature, reliable, fit, fun and compassionate. I'm retired, after 34 years with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. I enjoy spending time with elders -- caring for them, listening to their stories, monitoring their needs -- engaging with them. I'm happy to help with cleaning, errands, companionship, appointment scheduling, cooking, and medication monitoring. I worked as a Pharmacy Technician for 1 year which provided me with medication knowledge. Though I have never been paid to assist seniors, my experience with my grandmother and an elder neighbor that I cared for in a similar manner has provided me with the experience I need in this role. I have known Jill for over 20 years. During those years I have admired her warm relationships with some of the elders in our neighborhood. She was compassionate and kind as she helped these individuals several times in their lives as they aged.
