About Jill

For the past 30 years, I've been a certified teacher, helping elementary students thrive in Math, Science, Computers, and Study Skills. I hold a graduate degree and focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning in my students. I actively listen and observe to understand each student's individual learning style, adapting my methods through regular check-ins and feedback. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating successes. Communication is essential, so I prioritize open dialogue to build trust. The most rewarding part is witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence blossom. I am willing to tutor at my home, online, or at the library. I also hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. I would love to help your student succeed!
