About Jeylan

Hi! My name is Jeylan, and I'm a recent Florida A&M University graduate with three years of tutoring experience. During my time, I tutored College and Intermediate Algebra, helping students build confidence in math, understand challenging concepts, and develop effective problem-solving skills. I also worked as an AVID tutor, where I supported middle school students in multiple subjects and helped them develop strong study habits, organization skills, and confidence in their academics. I enjoy making learning feel less intimidating and meeting students where they are. I'm patient, encouraging, and always willing to find different ways to explain a concept until it clicks. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.
