About Jewel

My name is Jewel, and I am a 19-year-old pre-med biology major at Iowa State University. I have over three years of experience working with children, 5 to 9 years old being the age I work with the most, including some experience working with people with special needs. Other than my childcare job, I have also been a babysitter for friend's and family's children for as long as I can remember, with ages as young as six months, and I feel very comfortable watching children of all ages. Working in a summer camp has been part of my childcare experience, so I'm also very experienced with organizing crafts and stem projects for children. I have a car with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. I just recently renewed my CPR/first aid certification and can send it to you if desired. I am punctual, patient, and well-organized; I love working with children and am excited to be able to help your family!
