About Jestina

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my professional mission. With 10 years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in creating supportive, engaging environments where confidence flourishes. I am a Certified teacher with expertise in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). I adapt my teaching style by observing how you interact with new material, using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions to ensure success. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize clear communication with both you and your parents to build trust and track progress. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to partnering with you on your academic journey and celebrating every success along the way.
