About Jessi

Hello! My name is Jessicah, and I'm as student at Simpson College. I worked this last school year as a tutor for a 2nd grade student who was below benchmark in literary skills. This was my first experience, and I loved it! I'm hoping to do more. This spring, my student hit benchmark this spring, and I'm more than happy to share that data. My focus is in grades 1-5, and I'm very data oriented. I have plenty of strategies up my sleeve, and I try to mask explicit instruction as games. I've found that play-based learning breaks down some of the contempt against learning. Additionally, I have several endorsements I'm working towards. Special Education, Reading (finished), and Early Childhood. I specialize, and have years of experience in all of these fields. Thank you for your consideration!
